I’m Itziar Santín and I’ve been
a translator
since 2013

That was the year I graduated in Translation and Interpreting from the University of the Basque Country, following an Erasmus stay at the University of Leipzig.

Thanks to these studies I gained a solid foundation in my working languages and I learned to use documentation and terminology resources that allow me to choose the right words for each context.

In 2015, after working in a translation agency for a year and a half, I decided to become freelance and to specialise in the areas I’m passionate about: health, the environment and literature.

Since then I have continued training to perfect my language skills, keep up to date with developments in my working areas and to always provide the best service possible.

I’m currently based in Bilbao and from here I help clients around the world to spread their message in Spanish or Basque.
